A short ribbed black-metal cylinder, set flush to the ceiling.
This is a hardwired flush mount: a compact metal cylinder with aged black ribs on the outside and a brass-tone interior around one exposed bulb. It sits close to the ceiling.

EXTERIOR DESIGN
A ribbed black cylinder with a brass inner bowl.
The outline is a short metal drum under a thin brass-tone ring. The body sits flush to the ceiling. The lower opening stays open, so the inner metal surface stays in view.

ROOMS AND GLOW
In a hallway or over a bed. Warm when the light is on.
Mount it where a compact ceiling light can sit over a path or a bed: hallway, bedroom, entry, or kitchen. The photos show the fixture switched on at night. Light drops through the open base, and the brass interior throws a warm pool below.
