Finish
EXTERIOR DESIGN
A ribbed glass drum under a thin metal ring.
The outline stays the same across finishes. The finish lives in the metal. The glass stays clear and vertically fluted. Close-up work on the rim and socket is shown later.
The shade is a short clear cylinder with vertical flutes. Two bulbs sit inside and stay visible.
A thin canopy ring in brass, nickel, or black sits at the top of the drum.
The drum hangs just below the canopy. No chain and no stem. It stays close to the ceiling.
ROOMS AND GLOW
In an entry, a hall, a kitchen, a closet, or over a dining table. Soft by day, warmer when lit.
Mount it where a low ceiling light can sit over a path or a table. By day the drum is a clear glass volume on the ceiling. Switched on, the flutes break the light into a warm band.

DETAIL DISPLAY
Vertical flutes, a beaded glass rim, and a visible socket.
The close work is in the ribbed glass, the beaded lower edge, and the short metal arm that holds the bulb.
