Designer Concept

A tapered stone shade on a walnut disc.

This is a hardwired wall sconce. A round walnut backplate sits on the wall, a short black arm reaches out, and one travertine cone hangs from it. The shade is open at the bottom. In this dining nook the lamp is off, and daylight does the lighting.

How to Choose

One finish, one size, one head.

The color, the size, and the head count do not change. This sconce comes one way.

ColorCream travertine shade, round walnut backplate, black arm. There is no second finish.

SizeOverall height 6.7 in / 17 cm, from the top of the disc to the bottom of the cone. The shade opening is 4.92 in / 12.5 cm across.

LightsOne head. The arm holds one shade. There is no two-light or three-light version.

Exterior Design

A cone, a disc, and a straight arm.

The shade is wide at the bottom and narrow where it meets the arm. The backplate is a flat walnut disc, with a small set screw at the edge. The arm is a straight black rod. The white-background view is lit, so the open bottom shows. The wall view is daylight, and the lamp is off.

Scenes and Glow

Off by day. Warm when it is on.

The living room is the same room twice. By day the lamp is off. At night it is on, the shade turns warm, and light also leaves through the open bottom. The reading corner and the console stay in daylight, with the lamp off.

Detail Display

The joint, the stone, the bulb.

A black rod leaves the walnut disc and holds the cone on a short neck. The shade face is pitted travertine. From below, one bulb sits inside the open cone.
