Dining table

For daytime meals, light the shades under white hardware over the table.

White six-light glass pendant over a dining table at sunset

Evening dining

The white finish does not change after sunset. Warm light remains over the table.

Black six-light glass pendant in a bright living room

After dark

Light

Three steps with warm white.

Night wants it low, dinner wants it softer, the table wants it bright. Ease that warm glow from the wall switch.

What you notice across a bleached wood table is blown-glass shades.
Fix it once. The table should not need a second visit.
Cables you can set to the height of the table
Keep sleeves and shelves off the ceiling canopy.
It is hardwired at the ceiling. Then leave the fitting alone.
