DESIGNER CONCEPT

Travertine shades on a wood bar. Each shade can turn.

This is a hardwired wall sconce. Short travertine cylinders sit along a solid wood bar with rounded ends. Light leaves through the open bottom. A brass knob on the bar is the pivot, so a shade can face down or angle outward.

EXTERIOR DESIGN

A rounded wood bar, stone cylinders, and an open bottom.

The bar is a solid wood plank with rounded ends. Each shade is a short travertine cylinder, and the pores stay visible. Turn a shade and the open bottom angles away from straight down. Natural Wood is the pale finish. Walnut is dark brown.

ROOMS AND GLOW

Over a mirror in a bath, bedroom, dressing room, or entry.

By day the shades stay dark and the wood sits in natural light. Switched on at night, warm light leaves the open bottoms and washes the wall above the mirror. The off and on photos are different rooms.
